A breathtaking heirloom christening set from the 1990s — a sweeping, floor-length baby gown and a matching square shawl, both worked in the finest 3-ply yarn. The gown features a simple stocking stitch yoke that gives way to a highly dramatic, expansive skirt panel composed of intricate vertical lace panels, finished with a gorgeous scalloped hem. The matching shawl uses the identical lace panel repeats and features a deeply detailed scalloped edge — three rows of large, feathery lace scallops for a truly spectacular finish. A set to treasure for generations.
Sizes:
Christening Robe: One size to fit 0–9 months, 18'' (46cm) chest
Shawl: 53.5'' x 53.5'' (136 x 136cm)
Yarn: 3-Ply
